CASE EXAMPLES
- We were engaged by a major blue chip company to investigate an employee who had won an industrial tribunal, stating he was incapacitated and could not
work. A surveillance revealed that the employee was indeed fit and well and working in the building trade. An appeal was successful and uncontested
following the disclosure of revealing surveillance photographs.
- Our company investigated a large and complex fraud. Some thirty statements were taken, and exhibits seized. The matter was then passed to the police who
arrested the suspects and proceedings are on going. Without statements having been taken by our company it is unlikely that the Police would have pursued
this enquiry.
- A surveillance took place on an ex employee who was subject to a clause preventing him from working, or colluding with a rival company. We gathered video
and still camera footage evidence, to support a case against him resulting in compensation being paid to our clients.
- A complicated enquiry is ongoing regarding breaches of the Data Protection Act and the Computer Misuse Act. Elite Cheshire Investigations took statements
and seized evidence which is likely to result in proceedings by the Police, against the individual concerned.
- Elite Cheshire Investigations were contacted by a large Nationwide company in relation to an employee who was suspected of stealing from the company.
He had employed a cunning and well thought out method, and was thought to be surveillance concious. A plan was implemented and sufficient evidence was
obtained from technical and manual observations. When confronted with this evidence the employee immediately admitted his guilt and was dismissed.
